North West Leicestershire Society of Model Engineers

Welcome to the NWLSME Website

The North West Leicestershire Society of Model Engineers website is where anyone, either club members or someone wanting to visit can find information relating to our society.

This website offers a number of features such as an image gallery, information about our society, an events calendar and a copy of the latest journal.

If you want to contribute articles to the site - even if you are not a member (yet) - then you need to open an account. Once approved as an Author, you will be able to edit and submit articles online. Articles that are relevant to our Club's activities and which meet with our standards of decency and taste will be published. If you need further information on submitting articles then contact the Club Secretary or the Webmaster.

If your PC has sound enabled then you should be hearing the sounds of 70018 leaving Crewe.

Although not formally part of our site yet, there are two other locomotive soundtracks you can select which are: 70051 leaving Crewe (the closest to 70050 I could get and 61087 leaving York.

25 TRACTION ENGINE RALLY 11am 4pm

MAY

3 Members only Running
9 Visit by Burton on Trent SME 12pm onwards
13 Members work in Progress evening
15 2 ½ in Running day with the 2 ½ in gauge society.
16 RUNNING SUNDAY.

JUNE

6 Members only Running
10 Visit to Rolls Royce - Details will be posted in clubhouse
20 RUNNING SUNDAY

JULY

4 Members only Running
8 Ploughman’s Supper TRACK SITE
17 2 ½ in. Running day with the 2 ½ gauge society.
18 RUNNING SUNDAY

AUGUST

1 Members only Running
12 Fish & Chip Supper TRACK SITE
15 RUNNING SUNDAY

Please note all meeting will take place at the Clubhouse unless advised in the newsletter.
